I've finished my 1st assignment which was to create a sketch and a painting from a still life. I chose the still life of a vase with grapes and peppers, 1) I love the markings on the vase-I think they have a wonderful antique and foreign look, 2) I have never liked the taste of green grapes but they provide wonderful shades that i don't get to use often, and 3) I absolutely love peppers, hot peppers in ethnic foods and the sweet ones -red, orange, yellow- for casual munching while reading or on facebook, and the green peppers for pizza and salads.
Any advice or criticism is welcome!
