O.K. I don't know what is going on but there never was an official 'Winter" here in Michigan. We had a green Christmas and then a week later it snowed, stayed for a week, and melted. This snow and melt process has happened about 5 or 6 times now and I'm wondering if spring has started yet. 1 thing I'm convinced of is this: Michigan is bi polar.
This spring I only have 1 art class (tear): 2D and so far we've played with Indie ink and I LOVE it!!!!
It's so messy and fun to play with. here are a few organic compositions and geometric+organic.

This was created by dripping ink on the page and then blowing through a straw. It's uncontrollable but you can get general directions through this method. |

straw + a little water to get different shades |

This is indie ink mixed with bubble solution. very messy and very fun :) |

This is my favorite: blew ink w/ straw, bubbles for the circle and then tape to block of the lines while I applied the ink. unfortunately I wasn't allowed to use this mock-up as reference for my geometric and organic bc the circle counted as shape instead of line :/ |
Attempts at making Prof and myself happy:

This is what my professor wanted me to do, unfortunately I didn't like it so I combined this w/ the circle. I'll post the final compositions when I get them back from Prof. |
